The Elephant cord

 In the circus 

to train an elephant

When it’s young, they put a very massive chain around its leg

So it cannot move 

unless the trainers allow it to move

over the years as the elephant gets bigger, it is so used to this chain..

that the handlers can reduce the chain down to a very small rope that the elephant could easily burst or break

But,

Because this elephant has been chained down all its life, it won’t move….

 

now that the handlers know that they don’t need to watch over it anymore 

they’re able to put a smaller rope around it

And not worry about the elephant leaving

 because it (the elephant) knows, 

 it can’t go anywhere (it has tried every day in its beginning of this life)

Then if the handlers want to they can put a tiny string on 

 the Elephant foot..

The elephant is so trained or brain washed

it won’t leave or break the string

The elephant has tried all it’s life in the beginning 

to change and to walk away

But because it has been bound all this time

It does not believe it can do it……

The Elephant has given up..

Sin is the same way

At first, satan grabs onto us, 

as much as he can, 

and just hold’s on 

as tight as he can,

 and doesn’t let us go

Like with smoking, when you first start, you get this amazing over joyous fake feeling

Like your brain, just explodes with all this excitement and craziness

And it feels wonderful

And then, after 1hour or so, it starts to go away

And then you have to ….

go grab another cigarette to get this fake feeling back

And that’s usually how your addiction starts 

not just with smoking,….

but with anything….

All great or small additions start this way

this is how any addiction starts……

You get this crazy amazing fake feeling

And you seek after it

But after a while, this fake feeling starts to go away

And so you grab that thing again, and bring it back into your life

And you keep seeking more and more ways to get it

Because this fake feeling diminishes

And you have to find new ways to get this old Fake feeling back…..

By trying new and more risky ways in your new habit..

Not only is satan putting his chains and his cords around you

But you are choosing…..

to put the same chains and cords around yourself

To get that amazing Fake feeling back.

But as we all know..

 these fake feelings are temporary

And we have to go back and seek out this chain 

over and over to get these feelings..

These fake feelings back

After a while…..

after we’ve done our addiction 

for so long, 

it becomes a habit

And Satan doesn’t have to work on us 

as hard anymore

Because we do 

everything we can to feel these Fake feelings!

At first it’s fun what we’re doing..

(With smoking I thought it was great that I could go hide….

Get this amazing Fake feeling and not get caught !

So I got this amazing Fake feeling 

for smoking-

For hiding-

And for not getting caught-

A triple whammy !!

So I am super Fake overjoyed at the moment.

For getting away with these three things….

Because of all these Fake feelings, rushing into my body or my mind…….

I wanted that Fake feeling more..)

After we have sought these feelings for so long, we have bound ourselves to

satan..

by doing this 

he  then lets loose 

his grip on us again

by bringing a smaller chain around us 

because now we are doing the habit ourselves 

and he (Satan)doesn’t have to use 

so much force anymore to hold us down

or use the great Fake feeling anymore on us 

because we are so

used to our chains holding us down 

and these feelings of Fake happiness fade away completely 

And then, eventually, what happens is we are so addicted…….

(for me. It was smoking and many…… many other things)

I have to say this….

satan ,  he is tricky

 and wise 

on how to hurt people 

by playing 

the LONG game, or the long CON

When we are so weighed down to our habits

he doesn’t even have to watch us anymore. 

He doesn’t have to constantly do any of his tricks on us

He lets us go and we do it on our own

He just laughs and walks away 

While we are miserable 

Like him..

and the really stupid part is 

this habit has been going on for so long 

that we don’t even feel those amazing 

FAKE feelings anymore 

that we felt in the beginning 

for example, 

all day long I would just smoke my cigarettes 

trying to get that amazing feeling back and it never came !

 I smoked 2 packs a day

The only time that it (the Fake feeling) ever came was in the morning right when I woke up..

 right when I woke up 

I immediately went out side 

to get that 1st intake of a cigarette and the briefest feeling 

of that fake feeling came back

Every morning 

 then it went away for the rest of the day

And I just kept smoking over and over because it was a habit….

Sisters, Brothers, All my Family…

We have to break these tiny strings around us

The only thing holding us back right now

From stopping these habits..

Is us…….

It is you stepping away from your addictions

You have to believe that you can do it !!!

You can Break these tiny strings holding you down…….

But….

If you don’t believe you can….

you won’t !!!!

That is where God comes in…

Because you’ve been in such a bad habit

And you are so down on yourself

You have so many negative feelings about yourself 

And around you 

for what you have done 

for so long

That you are depressed, Lonely,  sad,  miserable,  frustrated,  and always angry.

 You snap at the littlest things 

and you wonder 

why ?

 why am I this way 

I want to be happy 

why am I so miserable?

If you have Hope…

that your life can be better

And you turn to God 

and you pray for HIS assistance…

So you feel HIS true happiness…

That Will…

last through Eternity…

He GOD

will Help you break your chains

HE WILL GIVE YOU THE CONFIDENCE 

TO STEP AWAY…

And find that true happiness 

that you have always sought after…….

But…….

you have to Seal yourself to GOD

You have to decide

What kind of happiness do you want?

And who do you want to be chained to…..

or Sealed to…

Do you want to be chained to satan?  

And always have a temporary happiness, and then misery always comes  after  !

because he just laughs and walks away in your suffering 

Or 

Do you want to be Sealed to an Amazing Heavenly Father …

Who gives you true happiness

Who shows you 

How to live Life the happy way 

the right way.

Who brings happiness into your mind and body…

And the feeling stays with you…

He God…will always be with you…

HIS peace is constant…

Always abiding with you…

If you only seek to do what is right…

I don’t want to be chained down like the elephant is……never having freedom of my own

I would rather be Sealed to my Heavenly Father And His Son, Jesus Christ

And get to enjoy 

the amazing feeling of the Holy Ghost

Always…

Constantly…

And the amazing part is…

It is so much easier to live righteously

Then it is to live in sin….

I hope…

That this message of the elephant 

truly opens your mind

So that you can see where you have been or are….

how you got chained down….

by satan 

And hopefully you will decide to change…….

I TESTIFY TO YOU… 

IN THE HOLY NAME OF MY SAVIOR 

AND 

YOUR SAVIOR…….

JESUS CHRIST

HE… 

GOD WILL  SUPPORT YOU THROUGH YOUR TRIALS

AND HE WILL DIRECT YOU BACK TO HIM…

IF YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD !!!

You just need to make the decision…….

to follow JESUS…

And remove all those dark chains..

and little strings from you….

Make sure you don’t hold onto any of them

What you hold on to 

will stop your progression of happiness…

 let them all go…

I Testify to you…….

that your Heavenly Father loves you…

You were given a perfect example…

on how to find happiness…

This perfect example is…

Jesus Christ !!!

He showed you the Way…

to find happiness !!!

Look for Christ…

Learn about HIM…

in the Scriptures…

All around…

Everywhere…

Learn all about Him…

Heavenly Father will guide you…….

back to Him…
