Last night, as I was saying, my prayers

My friends name kept coming into my mind

So I decided Thursday night

That on Friday, I was going to go fix his fence that he has had broken for at least two years

I talked to him about how I was going to do this and how we were going to work it out

And what we came up with

  was this

I know that I cannot pay for Bowling anymore

Because of everything coming up and I love to bowl

Tim and I discussed earlier in the week

That if I fix his fence

He will trade me

And pay for my Bowling

Hours / time Don’t matter, I can work as long as I want or as short as I want

This is what I/we came up with

That way no money has to be involved. I can get done what needs to get done.

And when I need help or I want to go bowling with him, I don’t have to pay cash, which I don’t have anymore

And I don’t have to lose something that I love

So by trading with him  

my work to trade for bowling

I went to the pool this morning

And I just cleaned the pool again today. 

Nobody showed up. 

It was just me and my music which is very relaxing and very peaceful and I’m very thankful for it.

After I was done, I was leaving the building and As I was walking past the exercise equipment in the Fyzical Therapy building 

One of my sisters stopped me and said hey how are you doing?

And this was the sister that I went to the Provo ward 

That was driving by and let me sit with her family kind of…….I was behind them, but still…

That was an amazing day also

I asked her if she had reached out to Another sister of ours…….she is blind and she loves horses

But since she’s not able to get the help she needs

She is unable to do the things she loves

Which is be around horses

So my dear sister, that’s on the Exercise bike right now

I know that she has horses

So I asked if she would reach out to my amazing sister that is blind

If she could ride her horses or come around them 

so she could enjoy things that she loves again

She Said she would be honored to give her a call

I said, thank you and then walked away

I was thinking, what am I going to need for Tim’s fence?

So I drove over to his house and looked

It’s a lot bigger job than I thought it was

But I took the deal and I’m going to do it

So I counted all the things that need to be fixed

How many boards I was gonna need and everything 

so I would be prepared

Tim Shares the fence with his Neighbor

So I went and knocked on the door so I could tell them what I was about to do

None of the adults were there

So I explained to a older teenager

What I was going to do

I gave him my business card

And told him I would not start any work on the shared fence until I was able to talk to his parents

He told me that they would be Back around three

So I decided I was going to go back in the yard and re-check my numbers for everything I needed to fix his fence

And tools and so on

As I was driving to Home Depot to get some materials

I had a really annoying driver, just riding my bumper 

And in the past, I would have just slowed down and just annoyed him more

But this time I decided to pull down the next road and just go down that instead, so he wouldn’t bother me anymore

So he could do whatever he was in a hurry to do

I don’t know if he has an emergency. I don’t know if he was just impatient. I don’t know.

I went down that road to get out of his way

And about halfway down the road, somebody was putting in a brand new fence

These guys live by me, and I kind of know them, but not really, but enough

And I said you’re putting in a new fence would you like help?

They said no thank you we have people that are coming to help but 

thank you

I noticed one panel of old fence that they had just  ripped out

I said what did you do with all the old fence?

They told me that somebody had drove by yesterday

And told them that he would remove it all for them

 for a price

And they had one fence portion left that he could not fit

With him

So I said I will take it from you for free. Is that OK?

They said go ahead

They then offered me a crowbar

I said no thank you 

I like to do things the fast and easy way and the correct way

And I had that fence taken apart within two minutes

And had it in my vehicle

I showed them this and they were astonished that I had it taken apart that quickly 

I Then drove back over to my friend Tim’s house

And proceeded to unload all the Freewood

Wow, it is amazing to me

If I would’ve been frustrated at that driver and just kept going and worried about him, I would’ve missed the free wood opportunity

But because I let him do his own thing and I just wanted to avoid his bad driving and stay peaceful 

and went down a road so I wouldn’t have to think about him

God blessed me with less money I needed to spend

Tim’s backyard has three different Fences

I will only work with wood

So I’m not going to do the plastic one

After I was done, unloading all the wood from the back of my van

I then went back to My Home grabbed a bunch of tools that I was going to need

And a 5 gallon water jug 

 I probably drink half of

And then I drove to Home Depot

I bought $80 in wood 

And both of my credit cards were denied

I pulled out my phone. Make sure I had money.

Which I did according to my phone

So I tried again, and both of them said denied

So I asked, do you have an ATM machine so I can go get the money

She said don’t worry about it. We will just do this and she showed me a way to make the card work by Hitting the button for credit instead of Debit card

After I had it loaded in my vehicle, I drove immediately to the bank

And told them about everything going on and asked them what was happening

She got on the phone and talked for at least 10 minutes to somebody waiting on hold for them to talk back

I asked them for some scriptures off the top of their heads while I was waiting 

But they were too busy they said how about when you come back next time we will give them to you

And in the meantime, we will work on this and let you know when we have it Solved

I then asked if i have the money in my account

They said yes, you do

I said can I withdraw some money so in case this happens again

I will have money 

they said absolutely

So I now have money in my wallet, just in case this happens again

This is the wood  section of the fence 

that I worked on today

After I got done, 

I walked up and over to Tim’s neighbor and told him what I was doing maybe later on to the fence 

And I asked him for a scripture

 he was looking me straight in the eye 

He told me he was not religious

I then said that’s OK that is your decision

I then noticed he had a really cool tattoo on his arm

I told him I thought it looked like

Transformers

I saw all kind of mechanic things and all kinds of cool stuff on his arm

He then explained to me what it was about

And that he was a mechanic

And that somebody else had a matching one to it

I then said don’t worry about the scripture 

if you can think of any Quote  that comes to your mind what is it

Again, he looked me straight in the eye,

 which a lot of people have a hard time doing. 

I am saying that again yes, I know.

And he said, the only thing that comes to my mind is this

“ Idle hands do the devil’s work”

I found that very fascinating

There was something really good about this gentleman

He had a look of love in his eyes

And even though he was not religious

I know that he is a good man

I then left his house 

Went back over to Tim’s, grabbed all my tools and everything

And I made sure the backyard looks as if I had not been there

Then I got home 

I went right home and laid down 

And took the rest of the night just to relax and read 

And I thanked God for everything that He has given me today
