Poetry-Let’s say….

 Let’s say you’ve had a rough day at work and you have a lot of worries on your mind and at the end of your job as you’re walking to your car which is parked four blocks away, you get about a block away from your car when you notice that there has been a horrible car accident. 

There are all kinds of ambulances and firetrucks and police everywhere and as you approach the accident, you notice that is your neighbor who is part of the accident..

 the cops let you go in and comfort your neighbor, and you find out that his wife and two daughters died in the car accident and he has also come out of it with a broken leg. 

He is so sad and worried about what he’s going to do with the rest of his life and what he’s going to do without his family.

 After he goes to the hospital the doctors and the police hand him over to your hands to watch over him as he arrives home.  

as you kneel down to say your prayers later that night, you pray that your neighbors, pain sorrows and worries may be lessened upon him and that all the sorrows, pain, worries and all that he has going in his mind may be upon your shoulders,  to lessen his pain. 

The same prayer, which this person prayed for his neighbor is….or is very similar to the same prayer which our Savior Jesus Christ prayed for us in the garden of gethsemane, to take away all of our sorrows pain, suffering, worries and anything else that would burden us.

 Christ loves us so much…..to do this for us 

all we need to do is truly turn to Jesus Christ and believe in Him 

and truly have faith that He is there for us….
